One event in life
can make you feel
like never being able
to leave the dessert,
to wander astray
in the sand,
never ever
to see life again,
never ever to live.

And then there will be the sun
burning.
A caress
that brings tears in your eyes
for the warmth hurts.

And then there will be rain,
the experience of thought
and feelings
waving
through you.

Unlike
the flowers in the dessert
we have a choice
when to bloom,
when to be alive.
